We do not ask you to trust our numbers. We publish the method, register every test before it runs, print the failures next to the passes, and anchor each document in the Bitcoin chain so the dates cannot be argued with.

How a claim gets onto this site

1. Register

The hypothesis, the prediction and the pass/fail rule are written down and hashed before any result is looked at.

2. Test

The idea is replayed through the real engine on history it has never seen, fees and all.

3. Verdict

Pass or fail, published either way, with the mechanism named. Most fail.

4. Stamp

The hash is committed to Bitcoin through OpenTimestamps. Anyone can check the date without trusting us.

What stays private: the rules, the sizing, the universe and the live positions. What is public: how we know, and where we were wrong.

The names

善狐 Zenko

The benevolent fox of Japanese folklore, the one that keeps its word. The name of this publication.

狐火 Kitsunebi

Foxfire: the lights the foxes are said to carry at night. Foxfire is the light in the dark you learn not to trust, which is why our proof ledger carries the name. A hash in Bitcoin is a light you can trust; the ledger exists so you never have to take our word for it.
